Having been part of the Castleton Dental team for four years, she is now our Lead Dental Nurse, supporting the wider nursing team and helping to keep the practice running smoothly day to day.

​

She first began working in adult nursing in 2016 and moved into dental nursing in 2020 after wanting a more hands-on role where she could be directly involved in patient care and see the immediate difference treatment can make. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2021 and has continued to develop her skills ever since.

As a qualified Sedation Nurse, she works closely alongside Dr Caoimhe Doherty, helping to support patients undergoing surgical procedures and IV sedation. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is helping nervous and anxious patients feel safe, reassured and comfortable throughout their treatment. She particularly enjoys the surgical side of dentistry and the fact that there is always something new to learn.

When she isn’t chairside, you’ll often find her supporting the practice behind the scenes with audits and helping ensure the team remains up to date with the day-to-day requirements of running a busy dental practice.

​

Outside of work, she enjoys baking, walking and travelling, with safari holidays being a particular favourite. She has also recently become a mum, so much of her spare time is now spent enjoying life with her new baby.

​

A fun fact about her is that she speaks four languages!
