Katy qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Cardiff Dental Hospital, University Hospital of Wales in 2004 and joined the Castleton team in February 2014. She has a special interest in treating patients with periodontal (gum) disease, supporting patients with dental implants, and helping those undergoing orthodontic treatment maintain excellent oral health throughout their journey.

Passionate about preventive dentistry, Katy takes a relaxed and friendly approach to patient care, providing tailored oral hygiene advice that is personalised to each individual's needs. She is committed to helping patients improve and maintain their gum health through education, encouragement and practical guidance. Katy is also a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) and regularly undertakes continued professional development to ensure she provides the highest standard of care.

Educating and empowering patients to improve their oral hygiene at home, helping them achieve and maintain healthy gums through personalised advice and ongoing support.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys gardening, practising Pilates and spending time outdoors. Fun fact about Katy - she got married twice in one week... to the same man!
